This Starbucks blueberry scones (copycat recipe) is rich, flaky and bursting with blueberry flavor. It is better than the ones you buy at Starbucks and that too at a fraction of a price. Forget to ever buy it again at Starbucks. Yes - these are that good!
01 Use fresh ingredients - especially blueberries.
02 You can use frozen blueberries as well.
03 Combine the dry ingredients.
04 Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones.
05 Work on the dough.
06 Shape the scones and bake.
You may use fresh or frozen blueberries for this recipe. Both will give best result.
Whisk together the dry ingredients and cut butter in it. Remember - the butter should be VERY COLD.
Mix the wet ingredients in the flour and form a dough.
Shape the scones using a sharp knife or pasty scraper.
Finish off the scones by applying eggwash or heavy cream on them.
Bake the scones at 400 F for about 20 - 25 minutes until they are tall and crisp on the top.
